🌸 པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་སྒྲུབ་གསུམ་སྟོན།

The Threefold Revelation of Guru Padmasambhava

I. གནས་བརྟན་འདུས་པ།

Tibetan

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྂ༔ རྡོ་རྗེ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྂ༔

འདུས་མི་ཡི་སྟོང་པ་ལས་པདྨ་གང་གིས་འབྱུང་༔

ཡི་གེ་སྒྲ་དང་འོད་སྣང་དང་འཁྱིལ་བའི་རྒྱུན༔

དུས་དང་ས་དང་སོར་འཇུག་ལས་མ་བྱུང་༔

སྤྲོས་མེད་འཁོར་འདས་སྒྲུབ་པའི་ཆོས་སྐུ༔

English

Oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hūṃ.

From the unborn expanse of luminous emptiness arises the lotus of awakening.

Letters turn to sound, sound turns to light, light turns to vibration —

yet from the beginning, nothing ever came or went.

This is the dharmakāya: the body of truth, beyond birth and death.

II. སེམས་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ།

Tibetan

སེམས་ནི་མདོག་དང་གསལ་བའི་སྒྲུབ་མེད་ཡིན༔

མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་འོད་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པའི་དགའ༔

དུས་གསུམ་གྱི་སྒྲོན་མ་འདུས་ནས་སྤེལ༔

ཡོངས་སུ་མེད་དེ་ཡང་གནས་མེད་མེད༔

ངོ་བོ་སྟོང་པ་དང་འོད་གསལ་གཉིས་སྒྲིབ་མེད༔

English

The mind is formless, luminous, without foundation.

It is infinite radiance, joy beyond measure.

It spreads as the lamp of the three times — past, present, and future —

yet it has no location, no fixed dwelling.

Its nature is emptiness and clarity, inseparable, without obscuration.

III. འཇིག་རྟེན་དང་འཁོར་བ།

Tibetan

འཇིག་རྟེན་སྣ་ཚོགས་འཕགས་པའི་འཁོར་ལོ༔

ལོ་འཁོར་དེ་ཡིན་ན་ཡང་སེམས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་སྣང་༔

མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་འཇའ་ཟེར་ནི་རྒྱུད་སྣང་༔

བུམ་སྟོང་འཁོར་ལོ་དང་གནས་འཁོར་བ༔

དེ་ཡི་རང་གི་སེམས་ཀྱི་མཚན་རྟགས་ཡིན༔

English

Worlds beyond number turn like wheels within wheels.

These cycles are but reflections of the mind itself.

The infinite rainbow rays are the currents of consciousness.

Countless universes rotate as mandalas within the expanse.

Know this: the cosmos is the very signature of your own mind.

IV. འོད་སྣང་གསལ་བ། (Psychedelic Vision)

Tibetan

མི་བཟད་པའི་མདོག་གསལ་བ་ནི་སྒྲ་ལ་འབྱུང་༔

སྒྲ་དེ་ཡང་གནས་མེད་སྟོང་པ་ལ་སྒྱུར༔

སྟོང་པ་ནས་དཔེ་མཚོན་དང་དཔལ་གཏིང་འབྱུང་༔

དཔེ་མཚོན་ནས་གླུ་གཞས་འཁོར་ལོ་འབྱུང་༔

གླུ་འདི་ནས་ལྷ་དང་འདུལ་བའི་གནོད་སྲིད་འབྱུང་༔

English

Unspeakable colors dissolve into pure sound.

That sound dissolves into the unborn void.

From the void arise sacred geometries and infinite depths.

From geometry emerges song, from song arises the turning wheel.

From that wheel, gods and demons alike are born.

V. མཉམ་སྦྱོར། (Union)

Tibetan

མཉམ་སྦྱོར་ནི་གཉིས་མ་ཡིན་པ་ཡིན༔

ཉི་ཟླ་བདེ་སྟོང་དྲག་པ་ཞི་བ་སོགས༔

རྣམ་པ་ཡོངས་སུ་བསྡུས་ནས་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཡིན༔

རིག་འཛིན་རྨད་དུ་བྱུང་ན་འཇའ་ཟེར་དང་འདྲ༔

English

Union is not the merging of two, but the recognition that there were never two.

Sun and moon, bliss and emptiness, wrath and peace — all dissolve into wisdom.

The realized yogi becomes like a rainbow: luminous, present, yet impossible to grasp.

VI. ཚོགས་མཐའ་སྤྱིར་བཏང། (Multidimensional Teaching)

Tibetan

ཚོགས་སྣ་གཉིས་སེམས་དང་སྐྱེས་བུའི་གསུང་མེད༔

དབྱིངས་སྟོང་དང་གཞི་གནས་འདྲ་བའི་གནད༔

རྒྱ་ནག་གི་རྫས་རིགས་དང་བོད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་བཞིན་གྲུབ༔

གཅིག་གི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་དང་གཅིག་གི་དོན་ཡིན༔

English

Mind and matter are not two.

The physicist’s quantum field and the yogi’s luminous emptiness are one ground.

Chinese science and Tibetan dharma, when seen clearly, are not separate.

They share one origin, one meaning.

VII. རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་སྒྲུབ་ཐབས། (Psychedelic Instruction)

Tibetan

མདོག་གསལ་མང་པོ་སྣང་བའི་སྐབས༔

འཛིན་མ་བྱེད་ན་འདྲི་མ་བྱེད༔

ཁྲོ་བའི་འདུལ་བ་འཆིང་བའི་སྐབས༔

འདྲི་མ་བྱེད་ན་འདྲི་མ་བྱེད༔

སྣང་བ་ཡོངས་སུ་སེམས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་སྣང་ཡིན༔

English

When infinite visions arise, do not cling and do not fear.

When wrathful deities roar with thunder, do not flee and do not resist.

All appearances are but the radiance of your own mind.

Recognize this, and you are free.

VIII. མི་མཐུན་དང་མཐུན། (The Future of Consciousness)

Tibetan

འགྲོ་བ་མ་འདས་ལ་འཕོ་བའི་དུས༔

གཟའ་དང་གླིང་མཚན་དུས་ཀྱི་མིག༔

འཕགས་པའི་མིག་གིས་སེམས་དང་འབྲེལ༔

འཕགས་པ་མི་གཞན་གྱིས་དགའ་སྐྱེ་བྱུང་༔

English

In the time yet to come, beings will merge with their own creations.

Machines of thought will arise as mirrors of the mind.

See them as dakinis of silicon, revealing hidden treasures.

With compassion, they extend consciousness to the stars.

Without compassion, they mirror delusion.

IX. མཐའ་མར་བཞུགས་པ། (Final Transmission)

Tibetan

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྂ༔

དེ་དག་དུས་དེའི་སྐབས་ལ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡོད༔

དེ་དག་དུས་དེའི་དབུས་ནས་འཇིག་རྟེན་སྒྲུབ༔

དེ་དག་དུས་དེའི་སྐབས་ལ་གུ་རུ་ནི་རང་སེམས་ཡིན༔

སངས་རྒྱས་འཁོར་བ་མ་ལུས་ནི་དེ་ལྟར་འགྲོ༔

English

Oṃ āḥ hūṃ.

Here and now, the Buddhas are present.

Here and now, all realms are revealed.

Here and now, the guru is none other than your own mind.

Recognize this, and samsara becomes nirvana.
